Motorcycle riding is an addiction! Once you've been bitten by the bug, there is no turning back. It is a common interest that is able to bring together men and women of all different ages and social groups. However, with increasingly changeable weather conditions, the motorcycling community seems to be moving indoors.
Bikeanimal.com has now celebrated its first anniversary and its passion for all things on two wheels continues to grow.
The overall aim of the site is to encompass all aspects of motorcycling. It includes the latest news from the industry, up to date race reports, news from the leading championships and road safety advice for motorcyclists.
There are also a number of interactive sections, which enable visitors to have a strong input into the site's contents. Bikeanimal.com users are able to submit their own bike and tour reviews, vote for biker-friendly accommodation and enter regular competitions. Website visitors can also search the free classifieds section for bikes and accessories or list their motorcycle for sale completely free of charge.
In addition, the website includes useful information relating to insurance, motorcycle accidents, legal support and rider training. Leading charities and campaigns are also highlighted for the benefit of the motorcycle industry.
This year Bike Animal is proud title sponsor of Honda Racing's satellite team with Leon Camier in the British Superbike Championship and Ian Hutchinson in the Supersport support class. We have also joined forces with Channel M to bring unique motorcycle magazine programme The Biker Show to the TV screen and online through our Bikeanimal.com.
Over the past year we have also ensured that other two wheel sports such as motocross and speedway are featured on the site. As we move forward we are looking to introduce more interactive services for our users, bring our own independent insurance service to the market and our ambition is to take Bike Animal into areas such as event and music promotion and leisure wear.
