Shaun Muir Racing is once again proud to welcome back for a third consecutive year, their title sponsor Hydrex. The association with the award winning plant rental company was formed in 2005 supporting a one rider team and has now expanded for the 2007 season to support the three rider team of Karl Harris and Guy Martin.

Established in 1985 and with depots nationwide Hydrex has become one of the UK's largest plant rental organisations. Steve Roby, Sales Director for Hydrex said "We are delighted to be part of Shaun Muir Racing once again and thrilled with the 2007 Hydrex Honda rider line-up."

Team owner Shaun Muir has a wealth of experience and in depth knowledge of what it takes to be successful in bike racing.

The former Superbike rider had a successful career competing in the British Superbike Championships in the early 1990’s before focusing on running a British Supersport team between 1996–2001. "My role has changed over the years from rider to team principle", reflects Muir. "Trying to make sure all aspects of the team work well, signing riders, employing the best mechanics and obviously securing sponsors, which isn't always the easiest of jobs!"

The reputation of the series is such that it not only attracts the creme of British racers but many top-class competitors from around the world, competing on high powered, production based, 200mph race bikes. Its sustained growth, television, media coverage and record number of spectator's cements the series as the most important motorsport championships in the UK. A fact not lost on the motorcycle manufactures who keen to exploit the showroom appeal of being associated with a winning bike on track, support teams from Honda, Ducati, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki.
